Once you have created an event, the event's VAT settings will follow the default VAT settings you have selected under Account->Settings in the administration.
However, you have the option of changing the VAT settings for a single event.
Furthermore, you have the option to choose whether single ticket types or additional services are subject to VAT on an event.
Note: These settings are not available if you have EasySignup account with USD as currency.

You have the option to choose whether some ticket types or additional services are subject to VAT - regardless of the general VAT settings.
However, the general VAT settings indicate if ticket types and additional services are subject to VAT or not by default.
